MacGregor container twistlock
McGregor container twistlock is designed for reliable fastening of shipping containers in the vertical plane.
To place containers in several tiers and form the so-called "floors", a standard reusable fastening is used - an interfitting twistlock with two swivel MacGregor heads (McGregor CV-8).
Purpose: Container ships and cargo ships, container yards, modular buildings and residential complexes
Twistlock operation principle: The main working part is a swivel pin with locking heads at both ends, mounted with the possibility of limited rotation through an angle of 90°. The turn is done manually. The heads fit into corner fittings of stackable containers or into a fitting hole on a platform. As you turn the protruding handle of the pin, the heads rotate and grip the top and bottom fittings of the two containers.
